“Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” (Hebrews 13:20-21).
It’s hard to maintain altitude when we face equipment failure at every turn, isn’t it? Really hard.
So today this scripture, Hebrews 13:20-21, is my prayer for each of you reading this.
May the God of peace, who was powerful enough even to thwart death and raise our Lord Jesus to reign with Him on high, equip you with everything good for doing His will.
May He equip you even as your own physical limitations are blatant and obvious. May He give you every good thing you will need for doing His will, despite brain fog and memory lapses.
I pray that He will work in us what is pleasing to Him. He can do this through Jesus Christ, whose covering we claim.
I pray you will be given balance and joy, peace and comfort, confidence and fellowship, even as you struggle to feel worthy.
May He carry you along and save you while you witness regarding His love and care. May He accomplish through your weaknesses wonders that would never be possible in your strength.
To Him be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Prayer: Lord, please hear our prayer, and answer. I carry each dear soul reading this to Your holy throne today. Please grant Your mercy and grace. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Shelly thought this song would remind you of God’s enduring love. This is “God Loves You” with Jaci Velasquez. It is truly lovely and blessed me as I listened to it this morning while working on posting devotionals. He loves you, He really does. Just as you are right now. I hope you can rest in this fact today. -Lisa
